Workshop Performance Testing, Safety, and Calibration of EV Charging Stations (SPKLU)

Portfolio Cover

As the development of electric vehicles (EVs) in Indonesia continues to accelerate, the government actively supports this transition through various strategic policies—including purchase subsidies, tax incentives, and the expansion of public EV charging infrastructure (SPKLU).

However, several challenges remain, ranging from charging duration to ensuring the safety and accuracy of the charging systems. The current trend shows that most users prefer DC fast-charging systems, which are considered more efficient and convenient.

To address these needs, a Workshop on "Performance Testing, Safety, and Calibration of SPKLU" was held at the BJ Habibie Science and Technology Area (KST), Puspiptek Serpong. This workshop aimed to enhance the technical knowledge and competencies of industry players, regulators, and relevant stakeholders regarding performance testing, safety assurance, and calibration of EV charging stations.

Through this event, it is expected that more reliable, safe, and standardized EV charging systems will be developed—contributing to a sustainable and trustworthy national EV ecosystem.
